A nice set of vintage Trifari jewelry from the 1940s. This set is composed of a nice crown pin and earrings. The crown pin is phenomenal being made up of a fine gold plated metal foundation that has pave set white rhinestones amongst bezel set red rhinestones, blue rhinestones, and glass cabochon accents. There are two cloudy white oval glass cabochons on each end prong set in gold tone metal and one deep red prong set glass cabochon as the crowning jewel at the top. The back of this item has a pin and locking "C" clasp and the signature "Trifari Des. Pat. No. 137542" is on the back bottom. The patent dates the pin to March 28th, 1944 and the piece measures 1 7/8" long by 2" in width. The earrings are so magnificent as well having a gold plated metal setting that holds a cloudy white glass cabochon as well as some pave set white rhinestones and a bezel set red rhinestones in the middle. The earrings are clips and are signed "Trifari" with a patent number reading "143989" dating them to sometime between February and July of 1946. The earrings measure 1" long by 1/2" in width and the entire set is in excellent condition having no missing pieces and being comfortable as well as great looking when worn.
