A vintage pin made by the incredible Alfred Philippe, designer for Trifari, in the 1940s. This stunning brooch is made up of a gorgeous rhodium plated metal foundation which forms two lovely tulips. The leaves are made up of a green enameled metal and have pave set white rhinestones riddled all around them. The tulip bulbs are surrounded by pave set white rhinestones and blue enameled tops. The bulbs are made up of one oval shaped light blue moonstone and a red glass cabochon that both look stunning. The back of the pin has a great pin and locking "C" clasp closure and a signature that reads "Des. Pat. No. 113" with the rest of the numbers being under the clasp. The pin has been identified as an Alfred Philippe pin made in 1940. It has no damage and measure 2 5/8" long by 1 1/2" in width. A fabulous Trifari moonstone cabochon tulip pin.
