A very unique piece of old vintage Hattie Carnegie Egyptian Revival jewelry. This necklace is so unique having an authentic appearance that looks as if the piece were dug up from a tomb. The necklace has a great silver base metal which forms the chain that attaches to tiny silver plaques centered by red plastic cabochons. This attaches to the centerpiece which is in the shape of an octagon and has an openwork design leading into silver florets all surrounding a center turquoise colored plastic centerpiece. From this centerpiece hangs five suspended dangles at different lengths accented by linked silver plaques centered by cream, red, carnelian, yellow, and turquoise colored oval shaped plastic cabochons. The necklace is fastened with a fold over clasp that has an oval shaped hang tag signed "Hattie Carnegie" next to it. The necklace measures 17 1/2" long with the centerpiece being 2" long by 2" wide and the dangles measuring 4" long at the longest strand. This piece is in great condition with no wear to the metal or the cabochon accents.
