Vintage Hattie Carnegie clown pin with faux pearls. This is an amazing dancing clown pin that is a very popular item that has been made by other artists such as Kenneth Jay Lane. This specific pin is made up of a nice gold plated metal foundation which forms this clown that is balancing on a ball with it's hands in the air and a big smile on it's face. This pin is accented with The clown's hands are covered in pave set white rhinestones and the frilly part of it's sleeves are made up of gold plated metal. The clown's suit is made up of strips of brown enameling that are spaced by tiny strips of pave set white rhinestones in rhodium plated metal. The clown wears a hat with the bill covered in pave set white rhinestones and the top accented with an imitation pearl. The clown's face is made up of nice jade colored plastic that looks amazing and contrast nicely with the rest of the pin. The eyes are two tiny white rhinestones that look perfect. This figural pin has two imitation pearls as buttons, as well as two imitation pearls at the tip of each shoe which are also covered in pave set white rhinestones. The clown is standing on a large half imitation pearl which looks amazing and measures 12mm in diameter. The back of this item shows the flawless gold plated metal and the pin and clasp which hold very securely. The signature "Hattie Carnegie" is on the back center in an oval cartouche and this pin measures 2 1/2" long by 1 1/4" in width.
