A very unique piece of Egyptian revival jewelry with stunning French bakelite accents and unique gold plated gilt sarcophagus symbols. This necklace is made up of a magnificent black fine fox-tail chain that leads to two ends of black faceted glass beads along with cherry red round and oval shaped French bakelite beads that are spaced by gold toned gilt sarcophagus symbols. These accents lead down to two stunning jade scarabs that are bezel set into gold plated metal and connect to the centerpiece design. This centerpiece is made up of a crescent shaped black French bake lite section that has a gold plated metal piece set on it. This piece has green and navy blue enameled sections that lead up to a gold plated gilt sphinx head in the very center. The center of this section has a dangling cherry red French bake lite bead set in an openwork section. Finally the necklace has three dangles decorated with round French bake lite beads as well as gold toned gilt sphinx heads and a jade scarab mixed with gold toned metal tassels that looks great. The necklace measures 33" long with the center section being 4 7/8" long by 1 3/4" wide. The necklace is in perfect condition with no wear to the gold plated
gilt sections or the French bake lite beads. A tremendous Art Deco Egyptian revival French bake lite and enameled necklace.
