A very nice piece of jewelry made by Hattie Carnegie in the 1960s. This fabulous item is an amazing enameled elephant brooch with glass bead accents and rhinestones. The pin is made up of a gorgeous gold toned metal that has a brushed on finish that looks simply stunning. This is not all as the elephant has gleaming white rhinestone accents on it's legs, ears, and around it's eyes. Atop the elephant's back is a blanket or cover that is made up of green enameling that is in great condition. Dangling from this gorgeous cover is three green glass beads that hang from gold toned metal wires. One more of these green glass dangles hangs from the center of the elephants face in between the eyes. Speaking of the eyes, this elephant has the prettiest I have ever seen. The eyes are made up of two red marquise cut gemstones that are just perfect. The back of this pin shows off the brushed gold toned metal as well as the pin and clasp which hold very well. The signature "Hattie Carnegie" is stamped on an oval shaped plaque in the center of the back side as well. This pin measures 1 3/8" long by 2 1/4" wide. This piece is in excellent condition with no missing rhinestones or wear to the beautiful brushed finish at all. A wonderful Hattie Carnegie enameled elephant brooch from the 1960s.
