A simply breathtaking piece of old Hattie Carnegie jewelry from the late 1930s to early 1940s. This fabulous set is made up of amazing faceted dark amber crystal beads that are just marvelous. The necklace is made up of a middle row of faceted dark amber colored beads that all measure 8mm in diameter. These beads are wire connected to two light amber colored faceted beads that are oval shaped and sit on each side of the dark amber bead spaced by a gold plated metal chain. This design along with dangling dark amber beads as well as dangling rhinestone covered balls that are amazing make up the necklace design. The clasp is a push release style closure that is decorated with a circle of six dark amber beads surrounding a centered ball of prong set white rhinestones. The back of this clasp is signed "Hattie Carnegie" within an oval cartouche. The earrings are also very nice having six dark amber glass beads surrounding a centered rhinestone ball. The design is set on a gold plated foundation that has a clip back that holds well. The clips are signed "Carnegie" and each earring measures 1" in diameter. The necklace measures 15 1/4" in length and the entire set is in amazing condition with no missing stones or wear to the glass or metal.
