A fantastic and very old set of Hattie Carnegie jewelry. This wonderful demi-parure is made up of a very rare duette dress clips pin and matching earrings that are serious show stoppers. The duette clip is made up of two dress clips that are each adorned with beautiful citrine colored marquise cut gemstones and rhinestones along with navette cut green glass gemstones that are flawless and set along gold plated metal wires that make up a floral design. These gemstones surround a very large prong set pear cut citrine colored gemstone that is dazzling. These dress clips have tiny prongs that hold them in place very firmly but each clip also slides easily into the grooves of the duette clip pin. This device allows these clips to substitute as the centerpiece for a marvelous brooch. The device is signed "Hattie Carnegie" on the back in an oval cartouche along side a signature that reads "Pat. Pend" but without a patent number. It also has a nice pin and clasp that holds very securely and makes this item a two for one deal. The earrings are great too having lovely citrine colored rhinestones and green glass beads surrounding a center pear cut citrine colored gemstone. This gemstone is prong set into a nice gold plated metal which connects to the clip backs which hold great. These clips are signed "Carnegie" on the back and each earring measures 7/8" long by 1" wide. The duette measures 1" long by 3" in width and all the pieces in this set are in absolutely perfect condition. An amazing set of Hattie Carnegie jewelry.
