A very beautiful Trifari jelly belly spider fur clip. This fantastic item is made up of a fine sterling silver base metal that has a great gold vermeil tone over it. This spider has eight legs that are made up of pave set white rhinestones in the surface. There are three rhinestones set into each leg which extend from the front body part made up of more pave set white rhinestones and one bezel set white rhinestone surrounding three prong set white baguette cut gemstones in the very center. The back body section is made up of a large clear lucite material that looks great. This section is prong set into the gold toned sterling silver and looks very beautiful. The back side of this item has a long and sturdy fur clip with two prongs that hold well and the top part of the clip is signed "Trifari" with a crown above the "T". The base of the back side is signed "Sterling" and "Des. Pat. 135190" dating this item to March 9th, 1943. This spider jelly belly measures 2" long by 1 1/2" in width and is in very good condition with only a little bit of wear to the gold toned vermeil. The lucite jelly belly is in very good condition and considering it's age this is pretty good. A marvelous Trifari lucite jelly belly spider fur clip.
