A very nice piece of old Trifari jewelry made up of a great gold tone vermeil sterling silver metal. This fantastic item is made up of a nice sterling silver metal with a 925 fineness that forms this amazing key brooch which is covered in a wonderful gold tone vermeil that looks great. The head of this key has a number of pave set white rhinestones set in a swirling gold tone sterling silver metal mixed in with bezel set white rhinestones as well. This section leads into the key shaft which is decorated with a prong set sapphire blue colored emerald cut gemstone along with long red colored rectangular brilliant cut gemstones unlike any I have ever seen. This are spaced by sections of pave set white rhinestones as well. This leads to the very end of the key which is composed of pave set white rhinestones and nice prong set baguette cut gemstones all set in gold tone sterling silver. The back of this item has the pin and clasp which holds very well and the signatures "Trifari Sterling" in stamped lettering. This pin measures 2 5/8" long and was made between 1941-1948.
