A very nice set of jet black crystal jewelry by Miriam Haskell. This set is composed of a necklace, bracelet, and matching earrings that look astonishing. The necklace is made up of four strands of faceted jet black crystals that each measure 8mm in diameter and are spaced by small black crystal spacer beads. These beads are strung between sections of beautiful white rhinestones prong set in silver filigree metal that surround a large center jet black oval brilliant glass cabochon that looks great. These sections lead into the centerpiece made up of a large section of prong set white rhinestones surrounding a huge oval brilliant black glass cabochon. Dangling from this are strands of beautiful jet black crystal beads that look like small fruits hanging from a vine. The necklace is fastened with a hook style clasp which is signed "Miriam Haskell" on the back side. The bracelet is made up of three strands of 8mm in diameter jet black crystal beads that connect to a center silver filigree section holding white rhinestones and a large center oval brilliant black glass cabochon. The bracelet is fastened with a push release style clasp and the back of this section is signed "Miriam Haskell". The earrings are very nice having a silver filigree metal foundation holding white rhinestones and a center oval brilliant cabochon. The earrings are screw back clips that holds great and the back of the clips are signed "Haskell". The inside of each screw is signed "Pat. 3176475" which dates this set to 1965 and the earrings measure 1" long by 1" wide. The bracelet measures 7 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide and the necklace is 16 1/2" long with the center dangle section being 3 1/2" long. This set is in fabulous condition and has no missing rhinestones or wear to the metal or jet black crystals.
