McClelland Barclay Nautilus pin with a marvelous Art Deco appeal. This fabulous brooch was crafted sometime in the 1930s and has been referred to as the nautilus brooch. This item is made up of gorgeous brilliant cut red gemstones prong set in rhodium plated metal as well as two sections of prong set white baguettes. A strip of tiny white rhinestones are set in rhodium plated metal around these jewels. This is all set in and interesting "S" shaped piece of gold toned metal with 22 bezel set red rhinestones set around the edge. All of the jewels are in very good condition and the metal is wonderful as well with little to no scratching or wear. The back of the pin shows off the long pin and pin clasp which are in great condition and hold well. The middle of the back of this pin is signed "McClelland Barclay" in noticeable inscription and the pin measures 3" long by 1 1/2" wide. A marvelous McClelland Barclay red nautilus brooch.
