A very unique piece of Hattie Carnegie jewelry with imitation pearls. This very lovely piece of Hattie is the famous Rajah elephant with a howdah on it's back. This pin has a lovely brushed gold plated metal foundation that makes up a very large elephant with a turbaned boy on it's head as well as a large canopy that has a man in it. The howdah is the large canopy that the elephant carries and has a turbaned man with a long flowing gold plated metal beard in it. This elephant is decorated with beautiful imitation seed pearls that line the base of the canopy as well as the elephants headdress and feet. This creature also has an imitation pearl eye. Green glass cabochons accent the elephants ear and the center of this pin in a way that surrounds a beautiful center oval shaped marbled green glass cabochon. The back of this piece has a nice pin and clasp closure and the signature "Hattie Carnegie" is within an oval cartouche along side a copyright symbol.
