Vintage Alexander Korda pin from the Thief of Bagdad Series. This piece is from Korda's Thief of Bagdad line and is made up of a lovely silver metal that makes a long sword. This sword has three themed dangles hanging from it which are based on the movie "Thief of Bagdad" produced by Alexander Korda in the 1940s. The dangles depict a male genie on a flying carpet and what appears to be a female Buddhist figure posing in some sort of mudra sitting on a carpet as well. These figures surround a fortune teller figure in the center holding a crystal ball which is actually a piece of amber colored lucite. The back of this item has a long pin and strong clasp closure that holds well. The signature "Korda Thief of Bagdad" inside of a rectangular cartouche. This pin measures 3" across and the dangles hang around 2" long. This item is in amazing condition and has a high collectible value as not many were made. A unique Alexander Korda Thief of Bagdad silver dangles pin.
