Hattie Carnegie figural roaring tiger pin. The brooch is a high end Hattie Carnegie figural pin that is featured in Georgiana McCall's 2005 book entitled "Hattie Carnegie Jewelry: Her Life and Legacy". This fantastic book piece is composed of a gold toned brushed metal in the form of a ferocious roaring tiger. This tiger has no white enameling on it's teeth as it has worn off from age but it does have lovely white rhinestones pave set into the left and right of the tiger's snout. The side of the tiger's face is covered in black enameling to add a gorgeous quality of appearance. In between each enameled section is a row of lovely white rhinestones of different sizes but all are accounted for and in fantastic shape. The tigers eye is a precious green glass cabochon that gives this creature a superb appearance. The back of this tiger head shows off the marvelous gold toned brushed metal and the signature "Hattie Carnegie" is on the back center in an oval cartouche next to a copyright symbol. The pin measures 2" long by 2 1/2" wide and has no missing rhinestones or chipped enameling other than on the teeth. A gorgeous Hattie Carnegie roaring tiger brooch.
