A very old piece of rhinestone and red glass stone jewelry. This pin is composed of a nice carved silver metal foundation that has four prongs with white rhinestones set at the ends. These prongs hold a very large red glass stone that has a unique cut to it. The glass stone accent has a rectangular shape with facets that make it look like an old mine cut. This stone is set into open backed silver metal which has a nice pin and "C" style clasp on the back. This "C" clasp has a strong hold and dates this item to the Late 1800s. This piece measures 15/16" long by 1 3/16" wide and is in good condition considering it's age. The rhinestones have dulled a bit from age but they still have a sparkle that really jumps out at you.
