Kenneth Jay Lane elephant pin. This elephant is highly decorated having rhinestones and imitation pearl accents. The elephant pin has a head dress made up of gold tone metal and having four imitation pearl dangles hanging off of it. The ears are made up of bezel set white rhinestones in gold tone metal with three diamond shaped glass jewels in each. These stones are colored red, green, and blue. The ears also have two large imitation pearl dangles hanging from them. The elephant's face is covered in white enamel and there are two blue glass cabochons for the eyes. The elephant's tusks are composed of a swirled gold tone metal as well. Finally the long trunk is made up of gold tone metal and has diamond shaped glass inlays colored red, green, and blue. The back of the pin has a pin and locking "C" clasp closure that holds well and the signature "KJL" is inside of an oval cartouche. The pin measures 3" long by 2 1/4" wide and is in excellent condition for age.
