A very hard-to-find pair of large vintage ca. 1983 signed Ugo Correani couture clip earrings with translucent pale golden clam-shells, rhinestones and large faux Mabe pearls. It does not get any better than this.
Size: 2 1/4 inches total length, clam-shell setting is 1 3/8 inches across
The condition is excellent, no missing stones or plate wear, pearls are intact, rhinestones are glittering. Silver-tone findings and frame for the clam shells. One earring is signed. The Lucite clam shell on the signed earring is slightly smaller than the silver-tone frame and the edges where the scallops begin do not quite meet the frame.
Mr. Correani designed jewelry from 1973 until his death in 1992.
Package will need to be signed for due to value.
