This lot includes 26 New Year's postcards from 1907 through the 1920s. It's a mixed bag: 15 are postally used, 2 are unused, and 9 are simply signed on the back To Loretta, from various family members. The two unused cards are: 1909, A Happy New Year, Made in Germany, Serie 80, embossed, very light wear on 2 corners; and A Bright New Year (two Victorian girls with clock), International Art Pub. Co, Printed in Germany, excellent condition. Other stand-outs are Old Dame Fortune and Dancing girl with bell on her head, both of which are in excellent condition, not even any yellowing. The rest are in fair – very good condition; one (another Dame Fortune) has a fold. The earliest cards (1907 – 10) are embossed and have glitter. Overall, it's a very nice lot that I have priced reasonably: I'm sure you'll get more than your money's worth just from the ones I described.
I'll answer any questions you may have about these cards as best I can: I typically deal with jewelry, have amassed hundreds of postcards and albums over the years that I would like to get into the hands of people who appreciate them.
