Stunning, signed sterling silver set from the 1920s – mid '40s. The design is classic and modern; the bracelet features two rows of large rounded links connected by a third row of similar links embellished by an applied scroll design with a small natural (untreated) turquoise in the center of the design. The links are hollow. Total length is 7-5/8 and total width is 1-1/4. The closure is built right into one of the links, and as such is invisible when the bracelet is closed. The piece is marked Silver Mexico and has a clear maker’s mark, FA. The screw-back earrings follow the design of the embellished links of the bracelet, with their scroll design and natural turquoise. They are just slightly smaller at 1 inch long. Each is marked Silver Mexico. The set is in very good vintage condition, with minor wear (a few very light dimples) as appropriate for a piece of its age. Total weight is 56.9 grams Note: I hand-clean most of the sterling jewelry with a polishing cloth (no chemicals). I do this because it allows me to get a good feel for its construction, durability, and condition. If the tarnish or areas of tarnish are desirable and integral to the design, I give it a very light cleaning to remove surface dirt only.
