In the mid-1980s, Monet introduced a line of jewelry called Directives. Today, jewelry from this very fashion-forward line is highly sought after and collected. This bangle bracelet is so very well designed: the opening is actually oval in shape, rather than round, so it fits the wrist more comfortably and naturally. And it flares out gently at the bottom, mimicking the natural shape of the wrist and hand coming together.
And of course, there’s the overall look of the piece, which is fantastic: deep creamy ivory color well marbleized with deeper brown. The front and back are accented by a deep cherry-amber color line and a burnt orange color, off-center circle. The piece is signed Monet © with a gold-tone cartouche that is embedded in the Lucite.
Overall dimensions are 3-3/8 X 3-1/4 (outside); 2-3/4 X 2-1/8 (inside). Condition is excellent.
**Price is for ONE bracelet : Both front and back are shown together in main image.**
This beautiful, high-fashion bracelet would make a great addition to your collection, whether you collect Monet, Lucite, bangles, or just love gorgeous, well-made jewelry. If you are not already a collector, this bracelet may be just the place to start.
