All the functions on this Seiko Bell Matic watch from 1968 work: time, day, date and alarm. The "day" reading is in English. The watch is all original; stainless steel with a white face. The back is marked Stainless Steel, 4006 7000 Water Proof, 804743 Japan J. The face is marked Seiko Bell Matic 27 Jewels Japan 4006 7070T AD
I'm sure it could benefit from a professional cleaning, though, as the date advance/alarm button are hard to depress and the stem takes some muscle to wind when changing the time or winding the alarm. There are scratches(original) on the crystal.
That being said, the watch is in overall very good condition, with the signs of wear in keeping with its age. I've been wearing it for about a week to see how well it keeps time and it has lost about 2 minutes. Again, a good cleaning and/or servicing should take care of that.
The watch was part of a collection of Seiko watches I purchased from an estate a few years ago. They all belonged to the same person, who had obviously both worn and cared for them, after which they had been in storage for a number of years.
