We have for sale a wonderful Victorian monogrammed huck and damask bath towel. These towels were used before Turkish toweling was invented. This towel has crocheted edging on both ends, on one end the crochet is in pale blue. It has a huck like feel in the center and the four corners are of the finest linen damask, depicting beautiful bouquets of flowers tied in ribbon. The towel is embellished with the owner’s monogram which could be “H” or, “F C”. The towel measures 21 inches by 38 inches. C. 1900
