This lovely Sterling silver meat fork is by Gorham founded around 1818 in Providence Rhode Island. It has the Gorham sterling markings of the lion, anchor and the letter G. The pattern is Plymouth which originated in 1911. The fork measures 7 inches in length and 1-1/2 inches across. Minimal wear, expected with the age of the piece, with no dings, or stains. This piece is a lovely example of the Art Deco period, with its simple lines.
