Here we have for your consideration a Victorian, perfectly faceted, natural amethyst, with purple flashes within the beautiful lavender stone. This beauty is set in a vintage setting that is versatile enough to wear as a pin or pendant. Small seed pearls are sprinkled between the wonderful scrolls and stunning beadwork surrounding the stone. The pearls are prong set and vary in size and variation in colour. There is one eye visible inclusion, and another inclusion, visible via magnification which you would expect to see in a piece of this age. The stone measures 14mm x 20mm with an overall length of 29mm x24mm wide. It has the original “C” clasp and is hallmarked 9Ct gold. A very special piece indeed.
