This absolutely stunning and rare ramekin has it all. It was made by the renowned Birmingham silversmith, William Davenport. It has exquisite bright cut work on the face and tapered handle and wonderful barley twist. It is hallmarked Birmingham 1903, and there is also a B/R lightly etched in the handle on the underside. This is truly a wonderful piece. Minor surface scratches as expected of a piece this age. A ramekin fork is short with stubby, wide tines. It was used traditionally for seafood or meat served with cream sauces. Measures 5 1/2in long and 1 inch across tines. 5/8ounces.
