Carved Bakelite Flower Dress Clip, Butterscotch Color, 1930s - This beautiful vintage carved Bakelite dress clip is in very good condition. It measures one and a half inches round. It has the clip mechanism seen often on this type of jewelry, a dress clip was worn on the necklace of a dress or on a coat, usually made of heavier fabrics like wool. This clip is marked "Made In USA". It will arrive sanitized and gift boxed. Bakelite was one of the earliest plastic materials discovered in the late 1800s.
