I purchased an interesting 1 7/8" long x 3/8" wide pendant and I am fascinated by it's motif and construction. It appears that a solid piece of silver was carved to form the bird and boot pendant; there is a maker's mark at the bottom. I do not know the exact metal content. I have studied it repeatedly and have researched the mark, but cannot identify the maker. It is signed on the back with a T, a mark that appears to be an eagle, and another mark that is incomplete
Under magnification, the bird has a tiny hole that would appear to have held a stone; at the very bottom is another same type hole; currently both places are empty; this does not detract from the piece; I could envision a tiny turquoise stone in these places.
