This is an antique "Biscuit Company" store tin. Unfortunately, the name of the biscuit company is obscured. We did not find another like it in our research. The tin was purchased in Pennsylvania a number of years ago. When the biscuits ran out, (all 7 pound of them, as printed on the tin face), apparently the store owner decided to put his own label on the tin in order to sell "Citron". Orange Peel", and "Lemon Peel". One of the photos show the small brown paper sacks of, now desicated, lemon and orange peel in the tin when I bought it. The tin is 7.5 inches by 7.5 inches on the base and 8.5 inches tall. The tin is certainly rustic-condition as seen in photos- but has appeal nonetheless.-
