This sterling souvenir spoon commemorates Colorado, Denver in particular, and does it in an imaginative way: with a burro on top. The bowl is also well done, depicting a cowboy lassoing a steer (unfortunately the depth of the bowl did not catch the light uniformly). Scenes on front and back of the handle are appropriate to Colorado, such as a prospector. On the back is the word sterling and the maker's mark (H inside an O). The spoon is 5.75 inches long and in excellent condition.
