This sterling souvenir spoon commemorates the 1901 Pan American Exposition in Buffalo, New York (sometimes called the Buffalo World Fair). Appropriately enough, the bowl of the spoon contains a graphic image of a buffalo head. On the handle of the spoon is Niagara Falls above NEW YORK. On the back is the word sterling and the three symbols for Gorham, small but distinct: lion, anchor, G. Also present is H105, perhaps a pattern number. The spoon is 5.5 inches long and in excellent condition.
