This handsome coffee pot was made by Wm. A. Rogers Co. between 1918 and 1929. The pattern name is "St. Pauls." The shape of the coffee pot with its convex bottom section and concave upper section is distinctive. The domed lid is perhaps a reference to the famous St. Paul's in London. Each section of the body has delineated panels. The panels in the center section are slightly arched and have a small pendant design in each panel. There are three decorative bands, each with intertwined garlands framing small leaf and flower designs. The spout has a larger leaf and flower decoration and the section between the pot and the handle has leaves and scrolls. There is a wood handle with a carved wood scroll atop it and also a carved wood finial on the dome. The exterior is in fine condition with one small ding. The wood pieces are in extraordinarily good condition. Inside, there are coffee stains. From tip of spout t6o tip of handle is 10.5 inches. The pot opening is 3 inches. The height is 9 inches.
