This handsome English deep, dark blue plate commemorates Richmond, Virginia; it was, made circa 1900. The center of the plate contains an image of the new state capitol. Around the border are images of important monuments, including City Hall, Confederate Monument, St. John's Church, and others. The plate is a full 10 inches in diameter. On the back we read Imported and Designed by The E. B. Taylor Co., Richmond, Va. Also we find "Staffordshire, England". There is some age crazing on the back but no chips, cracks, or repairs.
