This exquisite antique Charles Field Haviland Limoges oyster plate is expertly hand painted with floral life of the sea. The mark on the back is "CFH" over "GDM," the latter trio standing for Gerard, Dufraisseix, and Morel. This mark was used in the 1880's. The decoration combines innovation and color. The diameter is 8.5 inches and the plate is in pristine condition.
