This stunning American sterling antique napkin ring is the creation of the Woodside Sterling Company of New York City. The company was very innovative in design; this Art Nouveau napkin ring is an outstanding example. The ring is truly representative of the Art Nouveau Period with its sinuous elements. In the hands of the artist in silver, beautiful iris wind around the circumference of the ring. It has a diameter of 1.75 inches and a width of 1.75 inches. The ring weighs 54.8 grams (1.93 ounces or 1.76 troy ounces) and is in outstanding condition. On the exterior is the Woodside mark (a "W" inside a narrow wreath), the word, "sterling", and a pattern number, "2143". This napkin ring is a little work of art!
