Featured on this antique American figural napkin ring is a bushy tailed squirrel eating a nut (the typical squirrel pose). Next to the squirrel is the napkin holder, and all is on a handsome rectangular base with balled feet. The maker is F. B. Rogers Silver Company of Taunton, Massachusetts. Their mark is on the bottom along with the number 256. As with most figural napkin rings, this one is from the 1880's or 1890's. The napkin ring is in beautiful condition.
