This is a lovely reticulated sterling napkin ring with its own box. The design features intertwining thistles.--a symbol rich with history in the united Kingdom. The ring has full English sterling hallmarks for Birmingham, England, 1900. The makers mark is JMB (John Millward Banks). The ring has a flat bottom which can be seen in the picture showing the marks. It is 1.75 inches across the opening and 1.5 inches from top to bottom. It weighs 1.2 ounces. Both the napkin ring and box are in outstanding condition; the hinge and clasp on the box work perfectly.
