This lovely antique sterling napkin ring features a combination of floral and geometric decoration. It has a full set of English hallmarks and was made in Birmingham in 1909, as we can tell from the date letter. The diameter is just under 2 inches and the width is 1.25 inches. It weighs 1.4 ounces on a postal scale. Typically, a napkin ring weighs less than one ounce. This napkin ring, evan though reticulated, is more than 40% heavier than the average napkin ring, so has nice heft to it. There is an ornate monogram in the cartouche. The ring is in outstanding condition with no issues of any kind.
