This is an antique sterling napkin ring with a wonderful Arts and Crafts design. It is English with a complete set of hallmarks so the exact year it was made, 1904, is known. The crown mark in the hallmarks identifies the napkin ring as "Sheffield", the lion mark as "sterling" and the maker's mark as "W B&S". The distance across is 2 inches and it is just under 2 inches high. It is considerably heavier than the average ring, weighing in at 1.2 ounces on my postal scale. It is in flawless condition.
