Here is a most unusual American coin silver napkin ring. It has the shape of a crown. The reticulated work is magnificent. Some of the last pictures show closeups of the work of this silversmith. Note in addition the beautiful border which traces the parts of this unusual napkin ring. Even though one expects some kind of a sterling mark on this remarkable piece, there is none to be found. The diameter of the smaller opening is 1.75 inches and the diameter of the larger opening is 2 inches. The weight is 1.2 ounces on an accurate postal scale. The lovely monogram carries the initials CRB. This is an outstanding example of the silversmith's art.
