This is a fine early coin silver napkin ring with a scalloped cartouche. In the cartouche are the initials of the giver and recipient. At the top and bottom are triple applied bands with a detailed etched garland under each. The body of the napkin ring is hand hammered except for the cartouche. The weight is 61.5 grams or 2.17 ounces, more than twice the average sterling napkin ring. The diameter is 1 7/8 " and the height is 2". It is in excellent condition.
