This heavy antique English sterling napkin ring has an unusual shape, wider on each end than in the middle, what some call corset shaped. Each side has a fine applied floral border. The diameter opening is 1.75 inches and the width is also 1.75 inches. It weighs 71.1 grams or 2.51 ounces. The hallmarks are on the outside as is usually the case for an English napkin ring. The crown indicates it was made in Sheffield, the lion is the sterling mark, the date letter indicates 1912 was the year it was made, and the last symbol denotes the maker, Walker and Hall. The napkin ring is in excellent condition.
