Here is a handsome silverplate punch ladle with a most pleasing shape. It has a pronounced curve as emphasized in the second picture and a lovely handle with a cartouche which has never been used. The ladle is 13 inches long and 3.5 inches wide at the widest point. The center is more than 2 inches off the table. The ladle was made by the renowned English firm of Mappin and Webb, and the marks are shown in the last picture. This is an elegant piece.
