With its wickerwork pattern base and band of wild roses, this 4 inch covered sugar is an appealing piece. Above the central section of the sugar there is a vertical design, complementing the wickerwork near the bottom. Yellow wild roses and leaves in shades of green stand out against the lightly pebbled cream midsection. The interior of the sugar is pink. The diameter of the opening is 3.5 inches and the height of the sugar is 4 inches. The piece is in excellent condition - no chips, hairlines, or repairs. On the bottom is the impressed mark M 13 and and an unglazed spot with the artist's number. We have the cream pitcher in this same pattern.
