This 6 inch antique pitcher has a barrel stave form in light green on cream. The texture of the body of the pitcher is like wood, and we see the staves and nails in the same wood design. The exotic plants on each side are in brown as is the double ridged handle. The interior is cream. Overall there is a naturalistic color palette. We see an old shallow browned chip on the upper rim and a fleabite along the upper edge. There is some crazing on the interior. This pitcher is a nice addition to a majolica grouping or can be used individually, perhaps displayed on a couple of antique books. The diameter of the base is 3.5 inches and the opening across the spout is 4 inches.
