With its butterfly spout, wickerwork base, and bands of wild roses, this 4.25 inch cream pitcher has a great deal of charm. Above the central section of the pitcher there is a vertical design, complementing the wickerwork near the bottom. The handle of the pitcher looks like a branch. Yellow wild roses and leaves in shades of green stand out against the midsection. Stems of two of the wild roses branches form a V around the pitcher handle. The interior of the pot is pink. The diameter of the opening is 2 inches and the distance from tip of handle to tip of spout is 3.5 inches, The height od the pitcher is 4.25 inches. The piece is in excellent condition - no chips, hairlines, or repairs. On the bottom is the GSH logo used 1879-1880 after which a ring was added reading "Etruscan Majolica." There is an unglazed spot on the bottom with the artist's number and also an impressed mark. We also have the covered sugar for this pattern.
