This is a handsome early American pressed glass heavy goblet. The top section is gilded. There is a chain of circles under the gilding with a sunburst pattern alternating with a beehive pattern. The name of the pattern is "Cane and Star Medallion." It is a pleasing imitation of cut glass patterns prevalent at the time. The height is 6.25 inches. Both the base diameter and opening of the top are 3.25 inches. The goblet has no condition issues. except minor wear to the gold.
