I've been collecting and trading in vintage Hawaiiana for 25 years and have never seen another piece like this. It was made in Japan in the 1940s-50s, so cannot be one of a kind, but very few must have been made. Sometimes you will see a version of the two hula girls, but seldom with the boy, who is also a bobber. Note that these are smaller figures, measuring 4 inches tall. They are made of the common composition material of the single figure nooders that were made in Japan during the same time. They are one piece with the base, and there is a chenille palm tree attached to the bas behind them. The width is 3&3/4 inches, and the total height, including the palm tree is about 5&1/2 inches. The white you see on the bottom of the base is earthquake putty, common on pieces that were displayed here, in California! It comes off with minor effort. This rare piece is clean, and in near mint condition. No repairs or paint touch ups.
I currently have several pieces of vintage Hawaiiana in my shop, including other nodders, and am happy to combine shipping. You can see them all by typing the word, "Hawaiian", or, "nodder", in the California Girls search box at the top of this page
