Antique, 12 inch long, steel scissors that were made in Sweden in the 1800s. They are hallmarked, and marked, "Eskilstuna". The handles have a little decorative flair, but they made much more ornate scissors and knives, leading me to believe this unusually large pair may have been intended for tailors, or other commercial use. The blades are in very good condition, with no nicks. They cut paper nicely, but would probably need to be sharpened to cut fabric. I have not cleaned, or polished them.
