Vintage 1920s spice tin that was made by E.R. Durkee & Co. (New York). It once held 2 ounces of cinnamon, but is empty now. Unique in that it has advertisement for two other Durkee's items on the back, and one side of the container. The ad on the side is for their salad dressing and meat sauce, and the back is for their poultry seasoning. Excellent lithograph images of a turkey. Note that this is all tin, not tin with a paper label. I've included several photos to best describe the condition. It's in very good, but not "excellent" shape, inside and out, but does show wear. I haven't cleaned, or polished it. It measures 3&1/4 inches tall, by a little over 2&1/4 wide, and has its original lid. Dated 1926, and has the lithograph, "Good Housekeeping" seal, stating that it was tested and approved by the "Bureau of Foods, Sanitation and Health".
